I was going through different members' pages (to invite them to participate in an AIR art contest) from the doujinshi support club and happened to come across yours.. But I have to take a break from that and admire your gallery. Wow your artwork is absolutely amazing..!

Hello there! ^.^
Since you are a member of the doujinshi-support-club, I would like to inform you about the new changes going around there. We have been discussing this in the GB of the group but we also want to know your opinion! So here it is:

1st .- The Monthly Doujinshi Display -->

We are now putting up the Monthly Doujinshi Display Corner for those who wish to see their artworks displayed and those who wants their doujins to improve. The idea is this:

[1]To submit your doujins along with your link via PM to any of those in charge to display the doujins. (Right now:ephemeral-garden and pegassuss)
[2]Volunteers are needed to in charge of the displays. Volunteers should be used to toggling HTMLs, so those who're interested in helping out, please PM ephemeral-garden and pegassuss.

2nd .- 'The artist of the Month' -->

After 1 month, if there is enough doujinshis that have been displayed, we'll have our Doujinshi Artist of the Month. Every member of the group will then vote for one artist to be 'the artist of the month' by posting them in the guestbook of the doujinshi group, or if you prefer you can PM your decision to pegassuss (if you wish to help count votes just say it!). Judges are not restricted to anyone in this group, anyone can vote for their favourite artist of the month by posting them in the guestbook. If you're still confused on what I'm trying to say, ask ephemeral-garden or pegassuss straight in the face!.

Please read the following statement before:
- There will be no judges, everyone will be able to give their opinion and vote by posting in the GB of the group the name of the artist who, in their opinion, is the best one, or the one who has made the most substantial improvements. Several persons will be then, in charge of counting the votes. (collaborators needed!)

- There will be a month to vote, so everybody will have time to think and see the piece of work with no hurry. Don't wait until the end! ^_~

- Once one artist has been elected 'artist of the month' it will not be possible to choose him/her again, at least, not until an agreed period of time, because if not, we run the risk of seeing the same artist every month, and that is not the purpose of this idea.

These are the basic ideas, if you want to collaborate, to give your opinion or anything, please feel free to post in the GB! We hope to see you around there being active!

hiyo, I first came accross your name when you posted in a forum (Vectoring: PS or AI?. Glad to see that Pappy brought you back, even if the community isn't what it used to be. Sorry the few vectors I have done may not be up to your high standards... (those two links did have really good vector makers), but I don't work with graphics on a daily basis.
I'm just an amature vector enthusist who is more of a programmer by trade, and musician by hobby. Had some programming classes that delt with vectoring, and making our own vector renderers... (athough it was just simple line, tools mostly) for fractal images.

I share some of your frustration of people claiming their works are Vectors, when they obviously weren't made with Illustrator, Freehand, Mac Draw Pro, etc. I agree that things drawn with the Pen tool in PS are not really vectors, but more touch up. But I try not to get upset with these people because they may simply not have a vectoring program... and are using what they have at the moment.

aww it's true this community is based on using artworks of others ... i
think nobody in the staff want to change that ... i did what i could to
talk about copyright in official threads but all i got was refusals or
misunderstandings. So mt won't change i suppose ...
Maybe just browsing the doujinshi category would make you feel better.
There are sometimes really nice things ^_^
i suppose it's rather hard to be on msn at the same time with the
difference of hour between our country. I added you long time ago but i
never saw you online...
I just have finished my exams so i have more free time now.
What about you ? working for new commissions ? if i had some credit
card i would have liked to order you one ^_^ but i have no idea of the
procedure and so on ... i'm rather afraid of online pay-way.

*sigh* yeah, this community won't change. :| That's why it's soo hard to stick around. I've really lost respect for this community. =( When I first joined, I thought maybe it would turn out to be a really great community for anime artists. But soon it just turned out to be a major ripoff of copyright art. I've appreciate Deviantart a lot more after experiencing MT. Eventually something will bite MT in the ass though. They are infringing many copyright laws with them taking so much art from other artists.

Oo yeah, i'm hardly on msn. And I'm always on when my international friends are sleeping. It's hard catching anyone online who lives on the otherside. @_@
